I remember Kim Darby was in that movie.  Our daughter took dancing lessons from her father and he had her picture plastered all over the walls of the studio.

The lessons didn't last very long as he had a stick and he was very strict!   Dancing has to be an enjoyable experience and she started at 4 years old.  Luckily we found another studio where she had a lot of fun and danced all her growing years, ending up teaching for a while.

Loved John Wayne...

My favorites were Sands of IwoJima, the Cowboys and the Shootist, his last film...

They don't make em like that much anymore, do they?

No, they don't make  them that way anymore.   I took ball room dance lessons when I was 24 for a while. Mainly because I was bored and new to this area and wanted to meet people who liked to dance too. I didn't go very long.

I think the only other actor who will come close to John Wayne as being legendary will be Clint Eastwood.
