Nor did a lot of other things being blamed.  A kid with access to guns he shouldn't have had did the killing.
Any single mom that buys a Bushmaster to defend her self just may have a mental health problem..

Mrs Lanza had guns.  She was killed with one of them..  Some how I don't see how they made her "safe".

So you are giving the kid a pass, for shooting his mom and 26 other people because you say he was on drugs... 
He may or may not have been.  People are known to not take their meds even if they are prescribed.  Others take meds that are not prescribed.  No one thinks that is reason to shoot 27 people. 
He sure couldn't have done it with a hammer.

Are we discussing the INactions of the communities of Newtown and Sandy Hook Connecticut - and how they indifferently didn't want to HELP out the mentally infirm in their communites and their families or not? Is the discussion this country needs to have about mass murder - or is it about a entire nation wishing away the topic of chronic debilitating mental illness - and how we all must educate, inform and reach out to our communities mentally infirm - not ignore them. Until they act out...

Gee whiz, such a simple think to wrap your heads around people.... if you IGNORE your own home town residents, who are products of your school system, who are KNOWN TO ALL in your town  - you get tragedies of epic proportions.


The time is NOW for this country to stand up and show empathy and care and concern for how Adam Lanza was a victim too. First of all. And his mother, too.
