If the State Governors, Mayors refuse to comply with Fed law.  They can loose their funding for Law enforcement, etc etc...

A state where I used to live, awhile back refused to roll back the speed limit to 55 mph, during the energy crisis.  and almost lost funding for Hwy Maintenance program.  They save their funding by complying to the Feds.

Yes, it is called blackmail and why we need to cut taxes to the federal government.   It is time for local communities to spend their own money as they can best rather than the feds who pull this kind of tyrannical BS.   Cut the feds money.

You call it blackmail.  I call it Penalization.  Either way the State looses funding.  States can not provide their own funding with out raising taxes or cutting services.  How do you think that would work out??...

The fed is irresponsible with our money.  Why give them more?  That is insane...

Return it to the states.

Obama campaign, DNC end year in debt

Campaign finance reports filed Thursday show Obama's campaign ended the year with $5.8 million in debt while his party's political arm, the DNC, owed $21.4 million. The two groups ended the year with a combined $7.5 million in the bank.
