Don't know that "humiliated" is accurate.  Hot rhetoric, but not accurate.  We will find out when the New Congress convenes and the House and Senate leaders are voted on again.
 
So far he has done well demonstrating Obama and the Democrats almost absolute intransigence on this issue.

Let's hope the other repubs in the house keeps Boner on a short leash until after the new year, Once they come back into session Boner needs to be replaced. He lost the moment he caved and raised the debt ceiling. He's not willing to fight the fight to save this country from financial destruction. Liike most politicians Boners focus is getting re-elected
