Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

44 states already have these laws.   CT is one of 6 that do not thanks to liberals.

NEWTOWN, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – As the national discussion on mental health continues following the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that killed 27 people, a recent mental health bill that was defeated in Connecticut may have helped in keeping Adam Lanza away.

Connecticut Senate Bill 452 was proposed in February “to enhance the care and treatment of persons with psychiatric disabilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.” But the bill was defeated in March, with opposition calling it “outrageously discriminatory.” The aCLU said the bill would “infringe on patients’ privacy rights by expanding [the circle of] who can medicate individuals without their consent.”

Had the aOT bill been passed, it would have given the state the right to institutionalize a person who is mentally ill for treatment if the state believes that the person could be a danger to himself or the community.

-----

The powerful aCLU lobby as well as others who opposed it, felt that Adam Lanza's rights were more important than the rights of those children to live.

If you miss your medication or you refused to take it guess what, you guys talk out of the side of your mouths until someone slaps it, them you do not know where it came from.  Keep thinking that way the slap might be something worse

Giving a state  the right to institutionalize is a far cry from actually doing so. How much of a tax raise would the Teabaggers be willing to accept to help the unfortunate. Never mind,we know the answer.

Let's do nothing with the problem of mental illness and gun free zones that kill, right?

jw, the one to blame here is the person that knew this shooter had mental problems, yet kept guns where he could get to them, even had him practice shooting the guns.  Most ignorant thing that could take place.  Why isn't anyone even mentioning this?  Usually that is the first thing the media would jump on, but then they couldn't put the blame on guns then, so obama could go after a gun grab again.  People are so.......I can't even come up with a word that fits here.... oh well, I think you get the message.
