Have one thread for all the partisan hacks, who feel the need to politicize everything and blame, guns/obama/lack of god/too much god/palin/media/liberls/conservatives etc...

I mentioned this in one of hte other threads but I'm not sure if its because I'm getting older but stories like this affect me more and more...
 
back in my 20's, it would have affected me for a few minutes and I would have moved on...now...the feelings of sorrow have a more lingering effect...

I have already been spanked by takn, but I am here to say that of course some nut with a gun killed all those people. But it is not politicizing the gun issue to state that this was done with a gun that is not necessary for hunting or for personal protection. It's only purpose is for overkill.

And I am thnking more of eighteen stockings hung, eighteen presents wrapped, eighteen Night Before Christmass that will not be read, eighteen families going through the most unimaginable grief there is. And eighteen families that are planning funerals instead of decorating trees, baking cookies and all the joys of kids and Christmas.

So you folks politicize all you want.....it was a tragedy that should never have happened and with sane rules will never happen again.

Correct on everything you said, except that this wasn't a "tragedy."  A tragedy is an airliner hitting a mountain, or the Shuttle disasters.  This was Murder. Plain and simple (or not so simple).  We should publicize it as Murder, and call the perp a murderer, not glamorize him as "the shooter." 
 
We need to call it as it is; "26 innocent people were murdered, 18 of them were children, and the murderer committed a much welcomed suicide thereby saving the tax payers any further grief with this evil monster. "
