So let's also add in the hypocrisy in regard to wind turbines and Obama's energy plan - thousands of them all over and across my home state of Oregon too . As well as state after state after state - nationwide.

Oregon - that valued the spotted owl so much they arrogantly and hypocritically shut down all logging in our state in order to protect the habitat of singular spotted owls. Or so they said that was why they need to stop renewable trees from being harvested (and regrown) on public lands... and they economically RUINED Oregon.

How is that or what that societally GOOD for the people of Oregon, you hypocritical progressive energy mongerers - of Obama's.
You can't lie about this stuff. It's all public record. And no enforcement of endangered species being slaughtered under the command and direction of President Obama has occurred. Cruel, sick hypocrite Barack Obama.

I'm one of those "fools" that stocked up on the 100's.  I also have a few years supply of the Halogen 300w and 500w bulbs. :- )

I have a small supply myself. I have a ceiling fan in a two story foyer and the old fashion bulbs have been in there since June 1, 2001 and are used every single night and morning since then. I bought new ones because I want someone to come service the fan and clean it ( need a 16 ft ladder )  Anyway, the bulbs say one year.  Liars. they last way longer.

I actually almost agree with you boobs for a change.

I was thrilled with the idea of the new bulbs when they first came out.

I had an energy audit, and back then they gave me free bulbs to replace every light in the house.

But....

They don't last long, and they get duller with time.

and Mercury.

Say no more.

I don't buy them any more.
