There is a show for every PlayStation Movie and TV Show in the works. DevelopmentSony is currently creating a ton of PlayStation-related movies in addition to TV shows. In the last couple of decades, Sony has been revving up its recently created PlayStation Productions. The company's production division is currently involved in at-least 7 known projects, a few that are beyond the early stages of being a simple idea on a whiteboard.

A few of these have been shot, others are gearing up to shoot, some are working on scripting, you get the picture. Of course, PlayStation is actually very committed to this project which can't be said about a lot of other studios who are trying to adapt video games.

PlayStation Productions released its first project earlier this year, in the form of its long-sought Uncharted. It is a film adaptation Naughty Dog's cult title has been in works for over 10 years, and has been in discussions with numerous writers, directors and actors.

The final film starred in the hands of Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and although the film didn't go over well with criticsbut it did pull in a healthy amount of money at the box office and sets up another sequel, so it's likely more live action Nathan Drake adventures are on the way in the near future. The possibility of a future Uncharted sequel isn't the only thing on Sony's plate however.

The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat is likely to be the next release for PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog adaptation. HBO is currently adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.
