Title: Mother Nature did it for us... Post by: takncarabizniz on 09 09, 20, 12:38:52:PM We had one huge apple tree left to cut back, but with all the high winds, and the tree being packed with apples, Mother Nature brought it down for us. Sad.
But neighbors are getting free apples for their critters. We will have to wait to do any cutting up of the wood, as there is a full burn ban on now, and we shouldn't even be running our chainsaws. Post by: takncarabizniz on 09 10, 20, 04:55:01:AM I have two 5 gallon buckets full to chop and freeze later this morning...and we have this wheelbarrow full for neighbors to come and grab, though I'm pretty sure the deer will probably get their fill overnight.

I ended up with 4 huge bags chopped up...I think they're 2 gallons each. |
