Anyways I found that: IF we get rid of HALF the U.S. population, then Stretch the U.S. to twice its size: You will match Russia. Yep. Russia's land mass is twice the size of the U.S. Yet Russia only has a 144 million inhabitant population. World maps can be deceiving.
