California bill would give tax incentives to film, TV productions that leave states banning abortion


California lawmaker introduces a bill to offer tax breaks to film and television productions that relocate from states with restrictive abortion bans, including Georgia and Alabama.

Georgia offers generous tax breaks for productions and boasted 455 film and television projects last year, including Marvel Studios’ blockbuster “Black Panther.”

Some production companies have already indicated the abortion bans will make a difference in terms of where they decide to shoot film or television projects.

30 states just passed trade restrictions against California.

A “permit” to exercise out rights under the 2nd and 14th amendments is no more palatable than a “free speech permit” or a “freedom of religion permit.” Get rid of them. Our firearm permits were written in blood, more than 200 years ago.

The commerce clause prohibits states from interfering with trade between states.

I Pull in around $240.00 a week profit sometimes more just taking orders. My neighbor behind me is a dealer and has a full time job at Toyoto, so he subs to me to do the order placing.
