We just finished installing a cat door into the laundry room so I can regain my office without having the cat box there...

Trouble is, getting them to get used to using it.  I suggested to the hubby that we just leave the door open while we're home and let them get used to it, then let them explore in and out of the cat door.

Has anyone else ever had to train cats to do this?  If so, how did you manage it? 

Maybe if you left a treat in there the kittys would learn quickly how to get to it.

We have the door open right now...we'll give them the week, then work with them this weekend to see if they'll use the kitty door easily.

Loki loves it, thinks it's a game.  Belle is scared of it.
