It was only a matter of time before noted golf obsessive President Donald Trump publicly congratulated Tiger Woods for his comeback Masters win on Sunday.
He got around to it on Monday afternoon, but it was a lot more than just a run-of-the-mill “great job, champ!” tweet.

Along with his congrats, Trump tweeted that he will be giving Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom for “his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf)
and, more importantly, LIFE.”

I guess we should give the Medal of Freedom to all our Olympians, BOTH Super Bowl Teams, BOTH World Series Teams, Final Four in College Teams, BOTH NBA
Final Teams, Both NHL Stanley Cup finalists, Top 5 of NASCAR, and the World Champ Angler Fishermen in Freshwater AND Saltwater!
Oh yeah don't forget bowling, curling, soccer, ad all other college and pro sports.

Well heck, just give it to everyone, right?

trump has a motive to his madness.  trump thinks if he gives Tiger Woods the Medal of Freedom, he'll gain more votes from golfers.

We'll see if trump's numbers bump up...

A lot of people are talking about Tiger's fall from grace, his struggles, and his will to overcome.

I don't think it warrants a Medal of Freedom honor, but presidents have the ability to choose whomever they want.
