Title: Daffies heralding Spring
Post by: takncarabizniz on 03 19, 19, 12:45:20:AM
Yay!  The flowers survived the tons of snow and were out in all their glory today.  I really need to plant some crocus...I remember my mother getting so excited to see their little heads popping out of the snow, she knew it meant Spring was really around the corner.

Farther along than in my garden. I had to bring stuff in last not...25 degrees  and heavy frost. :-(

something is popping out here too but too cold to peek or bloom...

never thought I'd see this ever again... it's a lot of bulbs... I must have gone crazy or they multiplied...

They do multiply, luv.   I planted these petite daffies a week ago...hopefully the frost  did not shorten the blooms

So pretty - we are going to the tulip festival this year at the Wooden Shoe in Woodburn, Oregon.

It is the closest thing I have seen to being in the Netherlands and taking a train through the bulb fields from Rotterdam to Amsterdam.  It is spectacular.
