Title: On this day in 1963...
Post by: takncarabizniz on 03 03, 19, 11:18:49:AM
Patsy Cline performed for the last time.

She would be killed in a plane wreck just 2 days later...

To perform for the last time on the very day I was born, it must be why I love her music so much...

And this is my favorite Patsy song.

In those years my uncle was living next door to us and he played all of those country tunes and he even taught us kids a little square dancing. We were listening to Motown and the British invasion but we went along with uncle Walter because he was great guy and we thought we should be polite. I appreciate those songs more now than I did then and I really miss uncle Walt`s 25 cent haircuts.(http://www.aesopsretreat.com/forum/Smileys/classic/undecided.gif)
