It's his own fault he is now sitting in prison and facing 20 years more. If he hadn't lied after getting a plea deal, and if he hadn't tampered with witnesses, he would have probably sailed through with only a year or two. Oh well...once corrupt, always corrupt.

Thats what we've been saying. Its been a witch hunt from day #1. You hated that non politician dared be elected so you wrote your movie on how to destroy him, not because of anything he did, but only because you did not like him. He put himself where he is by proving he is not capable of following the law. He deserves 20 years.

He was convicted last summer; two counts of bank fraud, five counts of tax fraud, and one charge of failing to disclose foreign bank accounts. And then, Sept, pleaded guilty to failing to register as an agent of a foreign power while conducting lobbying work for Ukraine in the United States and taking steps to prevent the firms and lobbyists he hired from registering as foreign agents. There is no reason he shouldn't have been prosecuted years ago.

Talk of his possible sentence isn't old news. We all know he's been awaiting sentencing for months. It was pretty stupid of him to spit on his plea deal by lying. A 20 year sentence isn't good news for anyone, but for a 69 year old man, it's practically a death sentence. Title: Re: Told Ya!
