Title: Work Ethics
Post by: Jw2 on 02 11, 19, 11:04:34:AM
so, thanks to someone who works for Fuhrer Trump....we now know how much time he spends doing practically nothing.

Nothing other than watching cable news, tweeting and golfing...because his "work ethics" would get him fired at most companies.

But, considering the Fuhrer's supporters on aesopsretreat, it's not surprising.

Trump defends work ethic, 'executive time,' after private schedules leak (https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-trump-private-schedules-20190210-story.html#nt=oft12aH-2li3)

trump hasn't worked a day in his life.  trump's concept of work is prancing around like a peacock and moving his mouth to the rhythm of his imaginary accordion...

Based on what you just said jiggysaw2, there should be a lot of left wing millionaires, so why don't you trot them out?

What I wouldn't give to spend just one day as a millionaire.

I am sick of working...sick of manual labor, sick of cleaning up after others, sick of unpacking pallets full of parts and materials, multiple times a day, sick of slogging through piles of paperwork to justify the expenses of supporting more a 1000 people off one tiny budget, sick of spending hours researching materials and internal codes to ensure we provide the proper ones for our builds, sick of working in a giant tin can that is freezing in the winter, boiling hot in the summer...sick of walking up to 10 miles back and forth between buildings to make deliveries and pick ups, moving equipment, restocking...

Just one day...the life of a millionaire...

I wonder, maybe at this point in his life, he feels he earned it?

you might have a chance to learn something about work ethics!!!

Trump has taken MORE vacation time than ANY President ever in his first 2 years!

Uncalled for WWV.

Why must everything degrade into a personal attack.

I've cleaned a lot of shitty toilets, and dirty floors in my day.  There is NOTHING wrong with getting your hands dirty to earn an honest wage!

Sounds like you picked the wrong job, Takncara.

I enjoyed my work, all 60 years.  I built thing, inspected what others built and met 1000's of good people.  And with my work longevity, I now enjoy a nice retirement.  Never wanted to be rich.  My Parents weren't rich, so I learned to get by with what I had.  I was never rich, but comfortably wealthy...

then blame-yourself for not being a millionaire.

I, too, am disturbed by your comment WWV10MZ.   How dare you disparage the concept of an honest job.

Trump is an indefatigable president.  John is just jealous of his stamina.

Trump's accomplishments in just two years is outstanding.  We are very lucky to have him.

Jig, most take whatever job they can and do not get to pick and choose, regardless of qualifications. Only one finishes first in any race.

Takn, i hope you dont mean trump earned it. He was born a billionaire and has an unimpressive record. He can barely even read.

Didn't pick the job...it picked me.  When working in a factory is the only game in town, you work in a factory.  My logistics and inventory skills encompass all the above, and more, in this particular factory, because that's how they operate...heaping more and more on people when they shed other jobs.

No, I just think that he might believe at this station in life, having managed to get elected to high office, and having an eff'n s-load of money, he might think he's earned his level of laziness...

(( having managed to get elected to high office ))

Grrrrr!!.  trump WAS NOT elected to high office.  trump was appointed by a secret organization, aka Electoral Collage,  comprised of mostly Republicans.

Five Presidents have been elected by Electoral Collage, after loosing popular votes.  All were Republicans.

1. John Q. Adams(R) – the election of 1824 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1824)
2. Rutherford B. Hayes(R) – the election of 1876 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1876)
3. Benjamin Harrison (https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/topic/benjamin-harrison/)(R) – the election of 1888
4. George W. Bush(R) – the election of 2000
5. Donald Trump (https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/topic/donald-trump/)(R) – the election of 2016

Figure that one out...

Isn't the Electoral College made up of delegates from each state?

Yes it is, Takncara, but who picked those delegates and what party affiliation are they....

Here in Washington, it's all democrats, all the time...

They just keep changing the rules to favor themselves.

We went from primaries to caucuses, that end up being scheduled at the most inopportune times and they changed the election law to favor the top two vote getters, which is always democrats.

Takn, big thumbs up.

Jig, if popular vote mattered, the campaigns would have been different and clinton still would have lost.
