I looked up area because I thought this would be the last week for the garden and sure enough, my town says Oct 10-20. THis is it for the flowers.Some it takes a couple frosts. We go to 35 Thursday night.

snow blower... should tune up... but I don't wanna... may have to get out the driveway...

its just raining today... and I can work on the inside...

shop vac broke... going for the 3rd one... need it to keep basement and garage together... lots of dust and cobwebs... so off I go to get one today... hope I can get all the insides done.... tomorrow it's probably going to be the last day for outdoor crap to do... and it's a lot considering I slept the summer away...

this is fall... yeah right...

to me... it's winter...

when the temps go down to 30 and it's coming this week... 30 at night that is.... good news... it's not below 0... that's probably going to be in 4 weeks... I'll be gone by then... I pray...

oh the gas company want to come in that check their meters... why?  I'm guessing they think I'm stealing gas all winter...lol

no more 700-800 gas bills for me... I told them I'm in Memphis of course they called to check...lol

I will turn it down to 40 so the pipes don't burst... but that's all they get from now on.... same with the electric company...

that's how I beat the system....

even the traveling back and forth isn't blowing that kind of money out the windows...

I tell ya...

We're already seeing snow photos and videos from our friends and family in Montana and Colorado.  It won't be long now.

The backyard is winterized. Cleared off the arbor and sprayed it with bleach. Cleaned out the potted plants.:-( Front still looking great...until we get the frost.

Still have perennials. But their days are numbered.

We are in the 70's all week, even at the coast where I am now.
