Title: Glad to be back Post by: emilyB on 07 25, 18, 10:03:06:PM On the computer. I had an unexpected eye procedure at a retina clinic yesterday that had me practically banned from cell texting and computer activity for a day plus. Went through a lot of tests after being injected with dye (in a vein in my arm) , lots of pictures of my eye and tests which turned out that I needed treatment for my left eye for bleeding behind the retina. The series of treatments started yesterday with an injection into my frozen eyeball. I wanted to freak out. I came home with instructions as to what was forbidden for a couple of days, one of which was exercise. I forgot about this a few hours later and bent down to pick up the dog bowl. My eye teared up with lots of moisture and turned red. I went to bed with a headache and Tylenol. Finally this afternoon it's getting back to normal. I had a lovely doctor who was very nice to me and said that this saves your eyesight and wasn't available 13 years ago. I have 3 more sessions 4 to 5 weeks apart.

Title: Re: Glad to be back Post by: emilyB on 07 27, 18, 10:47:39:AM Thanks. I think I can be normal after two days except I went out on the deck yesterday afternoon and the thermometer out there registered 118 degrees. Holy cow! I was going to pick the last of the blueberries. They must be cooked already!
