I like to add a pinch to soups...it gives them a delightfully rich, golden color.

I take a turmeric curcumin capsule every day on the advice of a long time friend who is a natural health consultant who swears by it's anti-cancer properties.  I also take Vitamin E and cod liver oil capsules.

I read something recently on Tumeric... I shall look at it again.

We were on vacation for a week, Prior to leaving I had an appointment with my Dermatology doctor.  She scraped a spot on my chest and sent it the labs for a biopsy.  We returned to the message that it is cancerous, it is one of the 3 types of skin cancer that has a slow growth rate. so, I now go back on the 16th of August, to have some more scraping and digging done.

There are worse kinds of cancer for sure.. My father and younger brother both died of lung cancer..  Dad with Lucky Strikes and Max with Winstons.

staying faithful in times like this comes -Jesus saves- is all one can believe....

Where it is not good news to know that  they have discovered skin cancer on your body the good news is that it's the slow cancer and it's curable...

Prepare for this battle because there are many to come...

These are the times that we all are in....

Gathering all our strength, our hearts and our minds with love that's what it's all about...

Go to all your scheduled Dr meetings
with zeal and see what happens... you can overcome...

Keep us posted...

The 'C' word alone sends shivers.  Some types are worse than others.  I hope Ken that you can keep the skin cancer under control.  My husband has been fighting bladder cancer for 14 years now and it's been a long fight with minor surgeries over the years.  He swears that broccoli sprouts, which he eats religiously, have helped to turn it from aggressive to non aggressive, according to the last pathology report.  The doctors  told him to 'keep on doing whatever it is you're doing'.  He works constantly and while I worry inside he amazes me.

What a phenomenal couple you two are, Em, (http://www.aesopsretreat.com/forum/richedit/smileys/YahooIM/77.gif)
No words can convey
and Ken, you sound like a younger version of my dear ol pop who has regular skin checks and removal of skin cancers. Only difference is now, that my mom has passed a couple yrs ago, (they were married 59 yrs) i have to see to all his doc appointments, etc, etc. etc.

He has them biopsied and removed and all is well.

Since my Mom passed in 2016 my Dad has had a skin cancer removed from his face/cheek and one from his back. All went well.
