All the crap that we have accumulated over the years still in good working condition but technology wipes it all clean... once upon a time we had regular phones and then all of a sudden we have to pay for a service called caller ID and instead of me paying for the caller Id service I decided to buy the caller ID attachment that you attach to a regular phone then they came up with the idea that they can have the phone caller ID already built into the updated phones... I have all these telephones with the caller ID and the speaker phones but then here comes the cell phone... the regular cell phones went into the internet phones IP I guess that's what it's called... so we're stuck with a lot of old-fashioned phones and in good working condition... what else could they come up with I'm thinking maybe a telephone like Skype where you can see the person that you're talking to on some kind of Gadget I ain't buying... I have to resist being addicted to it because I find myself constantly checking it. It's actually life changing if you let it take over, so I'm trying to break the habit and put it in a place in the house and leave it and pretend it's just a land line. Trouble is I sometimes forget where I've stashed it away and then I have to ask hubby to call me so I can find it!
