Title: Loon Star AG Breaking Law
Post by: Truman62 on 06 29, 15, 08:05:48:PM
The AG of the Loon Star state is now openly defying the law of the land.

He will now use taxpayer money to defend anyone who wants to defy the US Supreme Court.

I think the US AG needs to take the Texas AG to school!

This has NOTHING to do with law, it is all about peoples religious beliefs, since you have NONE you can't identify with their cause. I'll say it again, Liberals should refrain from comments they obviously lack the intelligence to debate, Your constant demonstration of total ignorance is astounding!

Supreme Court rulings are the LAW of the Land.

If you can't follow the law, then change it, but don't break it.

Paxton is BREAKING the law by not following it.

What part of THAT do you religious fanatics NOT understand?

Supreme court rulings are not the law of the land when the supreme court did not rule on law.. laws are not written by the supreme court.

They interpret what the Constitution says, and the majority said that EVERYONE should be treated equally.

I don't see how that is such a bad thing, but then I am not a bigot like you.

Each state has a branch of government that writes laws!

The federal government has a branch that writes laws.

The USSC rules on those laws according to the laws and rule of law not political correctness because at the time it seems to be the correct thing to do!

How about that?  Another government ignoring the law.  How novel.  Lawlessness breeds lawlessness.

You are mistaken!

He is saying the state will come to the legal aid of anyone defying the decision!

That is not illegal in any way!

Then he will have no problem defending me when I don't want to serve anyone who is NOT a Christian?

Maybe I don;t like the poor, so maybe I wont serve them either.

Is Paxton gonna fight for me too?

If people can pick and choose based on religion, then the KKK is gonna get REAL religious, REAL fast!

Next Repocons can ignore Democrats because they're not religious enough.  Oh wait, they already do that in Tex-ass

I have worked in places that would fire you if you were unwilling to work on Sundays for religious reasons. In fact, more than one either quit or got fired. If your religion prevents you from doing your tasks as stated in the employee handbook, or listed on your job description, maybe you should seek another position.

Like most liberals you don't like the poor?

Who do you need him to defend you from?

If people can pick and choose based on religion, then the KKK is gonna get REAL religious, REAL fast!
Who is picking and choosing based on religion?  Remember the KKK is a creation of the democrat party!

Next Repocons can ignore Democrats because they're not religious enough.  Oh wait, they already do that in Tex-ass
Who is ignoring democrats?  Perhaps you think democrats should have equal power in Texas to Republicans despite what the voters say?

I have known several people who were fired for refusing to work on Sundays!

They got their revenge by creating their own businesses to compete with those who fired them!

I have no problem with "States Rights"  And I believe that some laws are best made on a state level, And that the Federal Govt needs to stay out of it.

We had some states approving of Gay marriage and others opposing it... And when these married couples relocated to other states, it was recognized as a legal marriage.  And may gay couples were traveling to legal states getting legally married and returning to their home states to flaunt it in their new "in your face" status.

I do think that the Federal Govt had to make some sort of ruling on this.

So now that it is the law of the land... I guess Obama will forget that a mere 4 years ago, he was against gay marriage.
