Not only have benefits been cut and re-regulated, now the tax burden is higher for these folks. Surprisingly revenues have been plummeting. No state with intelligent leadership would ever take the disastrous course of expanding Medicaid as it would inevitably bankrupt them! Restrictions on where and on what support money is spend is reasonable and necessary as the recipients have proven themselves incapable of handling the responsibility!
