Mark it.  The Republicans are going to control the Senate and House next year.  Get used to it.  Obama is a lame duck, save for further extra-constitutional decrees on his part.  Stick a fork in him.  He's done.

Your way got us into this mess.  The only advice I have is to get with the program.  The mood of America is changing and we're not looking to Washington for solutions.  We are solving our own problems in various, diverse, and innovative ways at the individual, local, and state levels.  You had better start adapting, rather than drag your knuckles.   The times, they are a changing.   The Washington, one-size-fits-all paradigm is on the way out.

With the new Senate rules, the Republicans cannot stop a vote on a nomination without the help of the Democrats.  Therefore this is a bi-partisan effort to stop this nomination.
