Title: Rick Perry 4 Prez Post by: Red_Diculous on 09 06, 14, 03:57:56:PM OK, nobody seriously expects Governor Rick Perry to win the Republican Party nomination in 2016, but some GOP insiders are telling us that Perry is well-positioned for an administration appointment of some kind should a Republican win the White House.
Perry himself seems to be thinking the same thing; he has made contact with various possible contenders with offers of support for their campaigns, and has promised to hit the campaign trail on their behalf in 2016. When asked if he was interested in an Ambassadorship or Federal judgeship, Perry said he'd accept such an offer but would prefer a Cabinet-level job. According to an aide to one of those on the GOP presidential shortlist for 2016, Perry has sent a letter requesting such a position, but the aide pointed out the fact that at present there is no such Cabinet official as the "Secretary of Edumacation" more as it develops... - Red Title: Re: Rick Perry 4 Prez Post by: caserio1 on 09 06, 14, 11:21:58:PM makes sense
