Title: How to cut & paste an article from elsewhere.
Post by: Jim on 05 16, 14, 06:09:04:AM

IF you attempt to cut and paste from somewhere else straight to this forum you will end up with a total scrambled mess.

Here is how I do it:

1)   I highlight and copy the article I find elsewhere.  Then I paste it into "Notepad." (set at Format: Word Wrap OFF)
(notepad removes all the color and font coding)

2)   I then manually enter a Space between all the paragraphs.
If I don't do this then when I past it to this forum all the paragraphs will be merged as one long single paragraph.

3)   When it looks correct in Notepad I then Copy from notepad (Word Wrap OFF)
(do not copy from notepad with wordwrap ON or else you will get split sentences.)

4)   I then Paste it into this forum, and add my Bold or highlights or color before saving.

BUT FIRST!  I preview my work before saving!  Especially if its large.

Day before yesterday I couldn't get into my checking web banking, So they suggesting that I switch over to Google Chrome.. for my emails, which I did.

I had been running Internet Explorer 7 for years... Now suddenly I can put all kinds of things in my messages.  (http://www.aesopsretreat.com/forum/Smileys/classic/grin.gif) (http://www.aesopsretreat.com/forum/Smileys/classic/cheesy.gif)
