Title: sometimes the interviewee gets the upper hand
Post by: caserio1 on 02 20, 14, 11:27:54:AM
Say What?

Russian Olympic hockey coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov, at a press conference after his team was eliminated from medal contention:

Reporter: "You know, your predecessor was eaten alive after the Olympics."

Bilyaletdinov: "Well then, eat me alive right now."

Reporter: "No, I mean..."

Bilyaletdinov: "Eat me, and I won't be here any more."

Reporter: "But we have the world championship coming up!"

Bilyaletdinov: "Well then, there will be a different coach because I won't exist any more, since you will have eaten me."

cas gotta admit that was a dumb question...they often are

Oh well. Let the Russians come back some other Olympic cycle - bigger, stronger, faster.

It's on to a gold medal match worthy of the Olympics, hopefully between Canada and the USA this time.

May the best team showing up on the ice - win it all. And be honored with standing on the highest spot on the podium.

Can't wait.

Neither of you two know anything about anything and prove it here almost daily...I'll give you days that you do not post!

My bad - the only error I made was in suggesting Canada and the USA meet in the gold medal round.

They do not.
