Title: Beverly Ann Barr Schults Post by: Jim on 01 23, 14, 09:12:03:PM My Mom. 83 Sent home from hospital today with congestive heart failure, and nodules in her lungs making it difficult to breath, At first they were going to operate, but they claim she would not make it through an operation. Hospice has stepped in, and the doctors give 2 weeks (+/-). I may be leaving soon and be gone for a week or so ... She is at peace now and you will come, in time, to focus on all the good memories you had, but right now it must be very hard for you. Hang in there!

I too, lost my mother while in transit to be by her side and it was incredibly difficult. She also suffered CHF as well as complications of diabetes, strokes and multiple amputations over a period of 7 years.
May God be by your side as you traverse this life's journey to see her to her everlasting life in Heaven. May you be comforted by the good memories you have of her and together.
