Title: Okay, need gaming console help
Post by: takncarabizniz on 08 28, 13, 06:17:52:PM
My son wants to take multiple gaming systems back to college w/ him this year...namely, an N64 and PS2, and possibly his Xbox360...

The problem is the flat screen tv we have doesn't adapt to older consoles, when he plugs in the N64, he gets no color, there is a red/white and yellow plug end, but nowhere to plug in the yellow...he tried both the other (green and blue) ports, and nothing happened.

Is there a good system selector that will help him adapt these older consoles to a new tv...

Currrently, he has an old tube tv that he can hook both the N64 and PS2 into at once, but it's all he uses it for and it weighs a ton...plus he can't use cable w/ it (the college provides cable)...we were planning on letting take the little flat screen from our other son's room, as we did last year when he only took his Xbox 360.

Any help is greatly appreciated...keep in mind, he is a struggling student and must be budget wise...

Thanks

YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT PLUGS ARE ON THE BACK OF THE TV I BET THERE IS AN HDMI, SO YOU THEN GO ON EBAY AND FIND AN ADAPTER TO GO FROM HDMI TO WHATEVER PLUGS ARE ON THE GAMING CONSOLE WHICH SOUND LIKE RCA PLUGS.

JUST ONE QUESTION IS HE GOING TO COLLEGE TO LEARN OR PLAY VIDEO GAMES?
