Title: The Lovely Bones Post by: emilyB on 05 23, 10, 11:01:18:PM We rented the DVD last night and it does do the book by Alice Sebold justice. It was a different kind of a movie about a teenager who was murdered and stuck between heaven and earth, trying to help her family find clues to who killed her. Very good cast and Stanley Tucci, who got an Oscar nomination for his role, was absolutely chilling as the serial killer. It makes you want to enforce in your children how to protect themselves from predators. It only took one wrong move.

I'm waiting on that one from the library...I just picked up Precious...after reading the book, I can't wait to see the film and Gabourey Sidibe is a delight. I saw her do an episode of SNL and she is quite talented.
