I am still having slowdown troubles.
 
I can load the site fine, and I can surf the site fine, for about 5 posts...then I start getting the long load times, up to 20 seconds...
 
It's only on this site though!
 
Any idea what's causing the hangups ?
 
This morning, I started on the current events board and posted once, then visited the daily life board, no problems, then went to the excite board and after posting once there, a total of about 6 posts visited, I got the lag start up again...
 
I checked all my settings, nothing's changed...my virus alerts say there is nothing...

I still see nothing wrong with the Server.  That doesn't mean it didn't cause your problem. Since it's sporadic and nobody else responded here that they too were having the problem its almost impossible to tell whats going on.
 
I know you had the same problem last week,  and one day I had it too for just one page load, then it was gone. There are so many servers and relay points between each of our connections that it will be impossible to know which is causing this.   But I think (as is normal) it will clear itself up long before we ever know what it was.
