It's a rare occasion that I (partially) agree with anchoragedan.


If dan has any substance to support his Nancy Pelosi claim, I'd like to see that.  I do believe that members of Congress have access to information that could/does lead to insider trading.


Here's a web site that tracks reported Congressional equity trades:  https://www.barchart.com/investing-ideas/politician-insider-trading  Seems pretty bi-partisan to me.


I believe that members of Congress should be prohibited from individual equity ownership and trading. 


Simple solution would be to restrict their investments to Total Market and S & P 500 Index funds, total market (US) bond funds or Target Date managed funds.  Maybe, I'd include 50/50 stock/bond Balanced funds.
