The way I see it the Democrats voted for a war with Iraq based on evidence and recommendations that came from the Bill Clinton Administration. Yes the evidence was being mouthed by the Bush Administration but its source was the Clinton Administration CIA. When the Democrats saw that the War was unpopular with the people they decided to use this unpopularity to back away from the War and move to use it as a Political tool to regain Power. The Main Steam Media sensing what was happening and being mainly a liberal media jumped on the bandwagon. With its only motivation being return liberals back to a position of power it used every opportunity it could find to bash not only the war but the Bush Administration also. With all the mistakes that one encounters in any war Bush pushed ahead determined to overthrow Saddam Hussein and etch out a victory in Iraq. The fact that Bush achieved most of his objectives with a minimum amount of casualties for a war lasting as long as it did made no difference to the opposition. The Main Stream Media continued very effectively to drum up Opposition to the war but this opposition did not stop the American people from voting Bush into office for another four year term. Really pissed off that Bush had won a second term the liberal Democrats went into overdrive and Lobbied against the War in their election campaign. Obama with no or little experience in Industry and Politics was a very smooth talker and managed to convince  enough Americans that he was their man. Despite being a radical left winger with known ties to many radical groups he won the election. America had cut off its nose to spite its face. After being warned not to elect this man of no real experience Americans ignored the warnings and are now paying for it big time. America have nobody to blame but themselves for they were the ones that chose to vote with their emotions rather than their brains.

and whoever you cut and pasted is blaming Clinton and the democrats for Bush lying about how dangerous hussein was 4 months after blix was allowd back in to iraq with complete access and found no traces, and 5 months after the vast majority of republicans, and a minority of democrats in Congress passed the Resolution Authorizing Force (not an invasion, per se) IF Hussein did not allow the UN inspectors back in, which he did a month later?
